The Melic Review was an online poetry journal founded and edited by C.E. Chaffin. It published poetry, essays, fiction, and literary criticism from some of the finest voices in contemporary verse — emphasizing meaning, economy, lyricism, innovation, and clarity.

Over 27 issues spanning nearly a decade, The Melic Review featured work by W.D. Snodgrass, Dara Wier, Josh Corey, Camille Dungy, Bob Hicok, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, and hundreds of other poets. The archive is presented here in full.
