Alison Croggon

Alison Croggon is a writer and critic who works in Melbourne, Australia. Her first collection of poems, This is the Stone (Penguin Books), won the Anne Elder and Dame Mary Gilmore Prizes. Her other work includes another collection, The Blue Gate and the novel Navigatio (both Black Pepper Press). Her work for theatre includes operas (The Burrow and Gauguin) and plays (Lenz and Rules of Thumb) which have been produced at major Australian arts festivals and on ABC Radio.
