like buoyed behemoths
in the barge-brown water

bridge
squat trolls
smoking cigars
with pink-tinctured effluvia

Cinnibar boxes
of saltines:
HYUNDAI
squarely stacked
on asphalt
grocery shelves

SANYO the whale
eerily
airily
puttering over
the fractal harbor

The sun's single
citrusy eye
cutting through
an oleaginous sheen
an admixture of Oceanus
and Industry
